Jonathan’s Kingsway Pharmacy is owned and managed by Jonathan Gbedemah – a pharmacist local to Sudbury since 2017. Jonathan graduated from the University of Waterloo Doctor of Pharmacy Co-operative Education program with Dean’s honours, and was also admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours Science).

After performing his clinical rotations at Sudbury’s Health Sciences North Hospital in the ICU (under preceptor Sarah Landry) and Geriatrics departments (North East Specialized Geriatric Centre – NESGC under Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke, Dr. Susan Lane, Dr. James Chau and site staff), Jonathan committed to relocating to Sudbury permanently.

From 2017 through 2024, you may have seen Jonathan practice pharmacy in a number of locations including Sudbury, Coniston, Chelmsford, Val Caron, Alban, Noëlville, North Bay, Espanola, and Manitoulin Island. With the experiences he garnered at these establishments, he decided to open his own place to practice pharmacy – a place where he could practice pharmacy without barriers. Jonathan looks forward to serving each of his patients and customers daily while eliminating barriers to effective patient care.
